Marxist-Socialist Newspaper collection – Demo Now Available!
Libraries are welcome to have a look at our demo of the forthcoming Left of Liberalism: Marxist-Socialist Newspapers, 1900-2015. There are now nearly 150 issues live, with representative samples of every title to be included in the collection. For the first time, these titles will be fully searchable, with article level access and the ability to easily browse by title, date of publication, and search by keyword terms.
Trial access to this essential collection is planned for November 2017. At this time, 25% of the total collection will be complete. Upon completion in mid-2018, the collection will include more than 200,000 pages. The complete title is available here, and includes titles such as The Daily Worker, The Liberator, and The Communist.
Researchers examining today’s modern left, liberalism, and progressive and socialist themes in contemporary elections and politics will benefit from this new database. Serving interdisciplinary needs, this collection will support inquiries in economics, political science, international politics, history, class, gender and social sciences.
